Alright, alright — it’s been a hot minute since I’ve blogged. Life has been utterly insane. And truth be told, we enjoyed Summer to the fullest. It is the first year that we have felt absolute freedom as a family and we are spending lots of time at the Keys. My happy place.
But Summit is over (so EPIC), kids back at school, and I was feeling a little fluffy so I got mentally and physically ready for our next challenge — Morning Meltdown 100!
Yes, 100 stands for 100 workouts.
As insane as that sounds, keep reading.

While a rare occurrence, I was NOT in the Coach Test Group for this program so what I am about to share with you comes from hearing from Super Trainer Jericho McMathews on various occasions, chatting with Test Group members, AND crushing the 1st Phase of workouts.
After completing Phase 1 I can say this — I love this program!
100 unique workouts with an emphasis to complete each one first thing in the morning. Do you have to do to them in the morning? No. Should you? F’ yes! I know I have gotten a little lazy on my workout schedule so this will get me inspired to get my ass UP in the morning and push play.
And I am totally committed to doing each workout WITH my customers and Coaches on Zoom. There is power in numbers and we are going in together!
What I sense is that this program is not meant to force anyone to be “perfect” for 100 workouts, but to build consistency in working out and eating properly MOST of the time. Certainly life will happen over the course of this program and if you can dust yourself off and keep going, you will win for sure.
So let’s get down to it...
First, I’m in love with Jericho.
Actually, I always have way back from the days of Les Mills Pump.
For those of you new to Beachbody or have no idea what I am talking about — Beachbody partnered years ago with Les Mills to create 2 at-home programs: Combat and Pump. We loved both of those programs and totally wish they were still part of our catalog of programs! Jericho made her first Beachbody appearance in Pump with a cool, unique vibe about her.
That fire red hair makes her stand out, but it’s her heart you will love even more.
Even in the first minute of workout 1, you sense her pride in creating this project. It’s her baby and without a shadow of a doubt she poured herself into it.
And OMGosh there is a DJ on set.
DJ Jessie in the room with Jericho and the cast spinning beats that will get your blood pumping. During the first phase of workouts, I don’t think I ever checked the time. With built-in music, the workouts are fun and fly by! She asks Jessie to speed up or slow down the tempo depending on the moves. So freaking badass.
Now let’s get to the good stuff...
The Workouts: What can you expect?
This program is set up into 10, 10 day blocks of work. During that 10 day block you will do these 10 workouts:
- Cardio Meltdown: Fun, upbeat aerobic endurance (and it’s seriously FUN, I’ve had people who hate cardio enjoy this workout!)
- Upbeat Strength: Work your back, chest, shoulders, and arms using rhythm-based time-under-tension moves
- Core Inferno: Challenge and strengthen your abs & melt off layers of fat
- Total Body Badass: a full-body strengthening workout using lighter weights & plyometric exercises
- Freestyle Flow: part yoga, part mobility, designed to stretch your body and help you recover
- Lit Cardio: a fun HIIT workout to help your burn maximum calories and torch fat
- Downbeat Strength: rhythm-based lower-body workout targeting your quads, hamstrings, and glutes using time-under-tension workouts
- Fight Club: a fun MMA style cardio session
- Meltcon: total-body strengthening workout designed to build muscle and burn major fat
- Re-Vibe: a yoga-inspired flow turns into a great deep stretch session to help in recovery
Note that while the names of the workouts remain the same over the course of the program — each workout was filmed individually and no two workouts are the same. How crazy is that?!
I loved loved loved the 1st Phase of the program. After 9 years of working out at home it’s freaking amazing that Beachbody keeps coming up with fresh, fun, innovative moves. And THIS program sets a new bar for uniqueness! You will be doing moves you have NEVER done before and that is so exciting.

I will talk about nutrition in a sec, but I really feel it’s important that we talk about this journal.
It is a hard-cover and gorgeous journal that opens to your signing contract to complete 100 workouts alongside Jericho. The journal is not only full of motivation and inspiration but structured to allow you to journal your journey.
While journaling is NOT a strength of mine, I do understand its power in tracking change and improvement. I cannot wait to see how I change mentally and physically!
