WHOA! It’s been a hot minute since I wrote a blog. But I am here and dishing on what’s happened since you last heard from me!
UPDATE: The world is in fucking choas and we’ve been locked in our homes for 3 months.
Ok, that’s it.
That’s where I’ve been.
In Q U A R A N T I N E.
You too, right?
Luckily, I had some things to focus on while locked down. First, Ultimate Reset. And second, 10 Rounds.
Let’s start with the Ultimate Reset, our 21-day vegan detox.
The Ultimate Reset is our 3-week vegan detox. You get to eat real food. No liquid diet. And, I promise, you won’t feel like you’re starving (you might feel a little hungry, but nothing too bad!). Plus, you’re not going to feel like you have to run to the bathroom every hour. LOL!
Yes, it takes some effort. Sure, it takes a little planning. And it's a bit of a mental challenge to stick with it and resist little snacks and treats throughout the day! But the results are worth it. As Beachbody says... “it’s not designed to be easy. It’s designed to work.”
This was my THIRD time doing the Ultimate Reset!
And I decided to do it wayyyyyy before COVID-19 became a thing here in the US. A huge crew of us decided to give it a go starting March 1st to “reset” our nutrition right before an amazing trip to Punta Cana. The group was called Spring Cleaning and it was poppin!
SPOILER ALERT: The trip never happened and we went into quarantine as we began the 3rd week of UR.
The first 2 weeks of the Rest were amazing for me. I flew through the prep, cooking, and resting. I did not exercise regularly, only a few yoga sessions here and there. Honestly, what made it much easier was our group. We flowed through all the emotions of Reset together and it made the world of difference.
This third round with the program was definitely not the same as the first 2 times I’ve completed it. But I think when you’ve done it before (and are mentally ready for it) — it’s an AWESOME experience of clarity and growth.
If you’ve ever done UR you know you move through 2 basic mental states — raging lunatic to dancing on clouds with unicorns and cherubs.
At the beginning of week 3 we decided, as a family, to quarantine in our Key Largo home. So, we packed up our entire fridge and drove down! The only thing I had trouble finding to complete the program was distilled water but one early morning run to the grocery store, before it got INSANE with people hoarding supplies, and we scored a bunch!
The last week was hard mentally. The World felt like it was collapsing so I really had to dig into my mental strength. Looking back, not sure how I did that, but I completed UR!
In total, I lost 10 pounds and felt on top of the World.

Then came 10 Rounds!
And honestly, I cannot think of a better program to do during this quarantine. The metaphor of fighting was PERFECT. It’s funny — we went to the filming of 10 Rounds in Miami and little did we know what was on the horizon.
What I LOVED about 10 Rounds:
- Joel — I mean, who doesn’t love him.
- Boxing days -— GAHHHH, these were my favorite! Each boxing workout you learn a new boxing component. From jabs, to uppercuts, to pivots, and shuffles. By the end of the program, you are full-on boxing. It’s so cool to progress and get better and stronger!
- Lifting days — these workouts were short, sweet, to the point, and TOUGH! They definitely complimented the boxing days and each time I lifted heavier.
- Traveling to the different cities — I think this was KEY in the beauty of this program. We were stuck at home all day but each week we traveled with Joel and the cast to a different city. LA, Las Vegas, Dallas, Miami, Brooklyn, and Philly. That was so cool!
What I didn’t LOVE about 10 Rounds:
That it's finished! I wish this program would have been 10 weeks long! I could have easily kept going and learning new boxing moves.
But all things come to an end and I am off to my next adventure. Can’t share yet — but it’s BIG. So, you’ll want to keep following along on my blog. Trust me!

While the visual changes aren’t readily apparent — I KEPT my Reset weight off which is HUGE.
